Hi everyone. Players of Oh So Hero v1.05.000/001 have discovered a progression-halting soft-lock bug in the Forbidden Bayou. As the player travels east past the entrance to Hiroto Dojo, they will encounter a spot where the camera locks in place for an enemy gauntlet, but the enemies never spawn, preventing the player from continuing the game. This bug (sometimes labelled a "regression") was likely introduced by accident while working on localization code or fixing other bugs.

We will be rolling back the live Steam build to v1.04 until we can get this issue resolved. For everyone else, you can simply download/install the v1.04 build from the previous month. Because there were no new features added with the v1.05 build, we will not be creating a hotfix. Also, we still need time to create a proper fix for this progression-halting bug. In other words, please wait for v1.06, which I plan to make available for you all by September 29th.

I'm very sorry this build was released in a broken state, especially after all of the other bugs were fixed satisfactorily. The root problem here is lack of testers for this build and lack of game coverage in the testing. As a solution, I am increasing the size of our QA team and creating an entirely new testing process to make sure each build is tested from start to finish before it ever goes out.
